Chief Plant Operator: Water & Wastewater Facilities
Nestled along the slopes of the Eastern Sierra Mountains, the June Lake Public Utility District provides critical drinking water and wastewater services to the June Lake Loop, including the Village, Down-Canyon, and USFS Tracts. CTR Water acts as the contracted Chief Plant Operator (CPO), providing comprehensive executive oversight, regulatory reporting, and process optimization for both the district’s surface water treatment networks and its 1.0 MGD wastewater facility.
Facility Specifications
- Water Treatment (WTP): Surface water systems & distribution infrastructure.
- Wastewater (WWTP): 1.0 MGD oxidation ditch augmented by surface aerators.
- Wastewater Effluent: Secondary clarifier to designated percolation ponds.
- Regulatory Authority: SWRCB & Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board.
CTR Water Scope of Work
- Executive Oversight: Acting CPO for both WTP and WWTP daily operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Managing SWRCB reporting (SWTR, TCR, SSO, and Drought).
- Process Troubleshooting: Turbidity meter compliance, microbial activity, and F:M ratios.
- Operator Mentorship: Directing and training local plant superintendents and OITs.
