Granite Bay State Park

Through an existing partnership dating back to 2019, CTR Water provides engineering consultation support to Granite Bay State Park’s Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The WWTP consists of two leach field treatment systems that receive effluent from the day-use restroom facilities, state park offices, life guard facilities, and the fast-food concessionaires. A total of seven (7) monitoring wells surround the two leach fields. Total monthly flow to the leach fields range from 4,000 gallons during the winter to greater than 116,000 gallons during peak summer months.

As the technical expert on the project CTR Water reviews system data and makes recommendations in order to meet treatment objectives. In addition, CTR Water assists staff with groundwater monitoring analysis, leachfield application and performance rate calculations, report preparation and California Regional Water Quality Control Board reporting.
